To increase safety while using Verinote Mobile during mission critical and dynamic situations, we have added Shortcuts. This means, rather than opening Verinote Mobile, authenticating and tapping ‘Quick Note’, you can simply hold the Verinote Mobile app icon for a short time and select ‘Add Quick note’. Verinote will do the rest.

What you need

You will need to update your Verinote mobile version to 4.0.8 or later by visiting Verinote on the Apple App Store and selecting 'UPDATE'. Please note, if 'UPDATE' isn't available, that's great. It means you are already on the latest version.

You may also need access to your desktop or laptop computer, to re-authenticate by scanning the QR Code as you did when you first registered your Verinote mobile application. If you need a reminder, here are the steps to do so.

Using the Verinote Quick Note Shortcut

1. From your mobile device home screen, hold down the Verinote icon for approximately one second.
2. You will be presented with a small menu, click 'Add a Quick Note'.
3. Verinote will then automatically open, authenticate and add a Quick Note with your Time, Date and Location so you can capture those critical elements when you may not have time to make detailed notes. 
4. The Quick Note will be saved and waiting for you to edit it with more details, if required.
